Lindsey Barnard

Lindsey B. head shot

Lindsey Barnard started training in dance when she was 8 years old. She trained extensively in Ballet, Tap, Jazz, Lyrical, Hip-Hop, and Modern. Throughout High School she taught Hip-Hop and Tap along with her personal training. She majored in Dance Teaching at Palm Beach Atlantic University for 2 years, and then went on to pursue her dreams of using dance to uplift the youth in South Africa. She joined “13th FLOOR Performing Arts Company” in Pretoria which used dance, drama, and music as a medium to reach, mentor, and grow the youth of South Africa. Not only was she a lead dancer and actress for the company, she soon became the head of dance training, one of the main dance instructors and choreographers, and producer of all their shows. This gave her opportunities to perform and teach in many other countries, including Namibia, Mozambique, Belgium, and the Netherlands. After 6 years she is now back in the states, and has brought her African husband with her, to go back to school at the University of Montana with a major in Wildlife Biology. Other than performing, her biggest passion is to see the conservation of the arctic and its wildlife, particularly polar bears.
